CSLINC - create 1 or more modules using Celbridge for TY students

the TU Dublin / Maynooth computer education staff offer modules (currently 12) for computing-related courses for TY students:

the modules are an 8-week structure

  • with automated final assessment I think

something like 10,000 Irish students did at least one of the 12 modules in 2022-2023

also links to ACM SIG CSEd in Ireland:

I think they use Thonny for the Python modules, not sure what they use for web dev

but some possible new modules from the Celbridge team might include:

  • HTML, CSS, JS web dev with Celbridge
  • Python, data and spreadsheets with Celbridge
  • intro. to unit testing with Python and Celbridge
  • Introduction to Python Game programming with Celbridge

.. matt ..

This would be great, though I’d recommend waiting until we have a stable v1.0 before building out lots of educational content. Celbridge is going through rapid development at the moment so the UI is still changing quite a lot with each release.
